About Us

Our Story

It began years back with a lot of planning. We were raising our family and enjoying success in other careers, but had a strong desire to build a business that was rooted firmly in creating joy, meeting great people, living an outdoor life and delivering an amazing, personal service to be proud of.

Fast forward to 2018 and after some extensive research, we found Wills Marquees and it was exactly what we were looking for. Several meetings, dinners and discussions later and we took delivery of our first beautiful Sailcloth Marquee.

With some trepidation, we took our first bookings and delivered a summer season of events … and loved every single minute of it!

David – Founder

Ex energy exec who swapped an office and a British Airways gold card, for entrepreneurship, a smile and a pair shorts.

When he’s not working, he can be found on his bike or in the pool, prepping for his next Ironman – actually, he’s only ever done one (Cork 2019), come on Dave, chop-chop!

Fiona – Founder

The creative, the coordinator and the completer/finisher all rolled into one. She’ll be with you throughout the planning process and is dedicated and passionate about the service offering we provide.

Fueled by tea, loves getting her boots on and heading outdoors with her two springers (Inka and Halle). Guilty pleasure – Dahlias!

Nick – Head of Ops

A natural leader, with an eye for detail, Nick will deliver a set-up on time, every time and exactly to plan.

An advocate of healthy living, passionate about distance running, wild water swimming and a largely vegetarian diet. Achillies heal…. coffee and cake!
